Terry Usher Raymond IV (born October 14, 1978), which leads to mononym Usher, is a singer, songwriter, dancer and actor. Usher rose at the end of 1990 with the publication of her second album, My Way, his first Billboard Hot 100 number one hit “Nice & Slow” has brought fame. The album was certified 6x platinum by the RIAA. His next album, 8701, produced the Billboard Hot 100 Number One Hits “U Remind Me” and “U Got It Bad.” The album was certified 4 times platinum by the RIAA.

The RIAA ranks as one of the best selling artist Usher in the history of American music, having sold over 23 million copies in the U.S. alone. To date he has sold over 65 million records, making it one of the biggest selling music artists of all time. Usher has received numerous awards, including seven Grammy Awards won. At the end of 2009, Usher was named the number one Hot 100 artists of the decade 2000. Billboard named him the second most successful artist of the decade 2000 with its 2004 album Confessions as the top solo album in2000, in tenth place. Usher has nine Billboard Hot 100 Number One Hits (all as a lead artist), and also reached seventeen top ten Hot 100.In addition to his musical career, Usher is seen as a sex symbol.
